From
the moment we met eleven years ago, there was recognition. You greeted me with
kisses, joy, and a feeling that went beyond words. You chose us as your family,
and from that day on, you walked beside us through every season of life. You
were present through joy and sorrow, through change and challenge, always
offering your steady, loving presence. In this way, you were both healer and
teacher.
You
loved life fully. Travel. Adventure. Car rides. You loved people, children, and
your family deeply. You moved through the world with an open heart, leaving
gentleness and connection wherever you went.
As
the end of your life drew near and your body responded to the call home, your
spirit remained clear.
You guided us with grace, helping us understand what would serve you best. Though the decision to let you go was one of the hardest we have ever made, you led us through it with trust and love.
Now, though your form has changed, our connection has not. You come to me in sleep. You send signs. You remind us that relationships of the soul do not end with death. For this, I am deeply grateful.
Thank you, my beautiful Nemo, for the life we shared, for the love that continues, and for walking with us still, just in a different way.
Until we meet again, we walk together in this new way.
In Loving Memory of Nemo Haines-Corupe
