So many mixtures of colours and patterns yet black
seemed predominant so that may have been mamma’s favourite boyfriend at the
time.
I even wrote a song that went along with Nashville Cats:
Tamarac Cats, theys having lots of babies,
Tamarac cats theys eating lots of food,
Tamarac cats there numbers kept on growing,
Tamarac cats, I sure the neighbours loved us.
She gave us Angel Girl a sweet little kitten that I actually let come into our Inn when we were closed! She just made herself at home as if she had
been an indoor cat since birth. In fact she actually had manners and while she
would quickly take off to explore every nook and cranny, she would return to
get some loving and off course, a few treats. I wished I could have taken Angel
Girl, but we sold our resort and moved to Florida! I cried when we had to leave
her she really was so cute!
It was soooo sad when we moved to
Florida! Our server promised she feed them, I really hope she did because life
had other plans for us as I sold the inn and continued to live in the states a
few more years. I never saw any of these fur balls again.
That was so long ago and now I am living back in Niagara Falls and take care of my fluffy neighbourhood calico feral cat whom I named Marigold as it really suits her! I feed her everyday. It took a while, but she lets me pet her now, but nobody else can!
Hubby made her cat house for the colder months, otherwise she sleeps on our wicker rocker and keeps an eye on our back door waiting for me to come out a pet her in the morning and then she will eat her food! Here I go again! Feral cats need love too! LOL!
