Laura & Len's Gorgeous Ginger

Before she got Bicardi she had a pair of cats named Ginger and Gabby.

The latter passed away first which led to Ginger needing extra love... and extra love he got from my Mom, Laura.

She and her husband loved to cuddle this sweetheart of a cat because he gave back as much as he got.

He was so beautiful just to look at and the saddest time was when he started to go blind.

Gabby had bee n just that... the gabby one. However now that Ginger was seeing less and less he took up the habit of sleeping all

day and wondering about all night howling for a few hours. this went on for more than a year leading to frustration for Laura and visiting family who spent the night. luckily Len's hearing had gone so once he took out his hearing aids... never heard Ginger at all.

It was later discovered during a documentary on animals with seeing issues that they used the sound to vibrate back to them distance from objects they could bump into.

Yes, Ginger definitely taught the whole

family patience and it was so hard to lose him when crossed the Rainbow Bridge
